It was the last day of school and the beginning of vacation - that wonderful time when kids could sit around doing absolutely nothing. Bobby and Beth shouted goodbye to their teachers and climbed into the bus for their happy ride home. "Well," said their mother after a couple days of vacation, "would you like that?"

"Like what?" asked Bobby.

"Oh,it's just something that came in the mail," said Mother. "Something about camp."

"Camp?" said Beth.

"Yes," said mother. "It's that time of year again. You know they have things for kids to do during summer break."

"Could we go?" said Bobby after they had read the brochure

"Yeah," said Beth "I love sitting here doing nothing but camp sounds like so much fun!"

"Yes, I think if your father agrees with it, you may go," said their mother.

Soon they were on their way to camp. They had so much fun there, making friends and playing with all the other children, that on the last day they felt like it had only been a couple of days. When it was time for the field games and contests, Bobby and Beth did very well. Bobby won second place in the dash, and Beth got medals for the dead-mans float and for her bead belt.

"Well?" asked their father. "How did you like camp?"

"It was great!" said Bobby.

"Yeah!" said Beth "And I can't wait to go back again next year."
