Story teller

"Is it a girl or a boy?" I asked bubbling with excitement. My dad had brought me to the hospital to see my new little sibling. "I'm so excited because I'm pretty sure I know what it is going to be. Well I guess I don't really know but I am think it should be a boy" I said as we walked toward the room where my mom was staying. As we walked into the room I couldn't help but feel a stab of disappointment. All around me were pink balloons saying, "it's a girl!" I slowly walked up to my little sister's crib. Was I crazy or something, cause I'm pretty sure I just heard a question come out of my mouth that sounded like, "May I hold her?" Maybe I can help name her, I thought as I held her.

She is pretty cute. "How do you like your new baby sister?" my dad said.

"You know what?" I said, with beaming eyes. "I love her."
